Don’t be fooled, America. Democrats have a very simple plan to reverse the current economic crisis. Healthcare reform equals healthcare rationing. Healthcare rationing will result in more deaths of the elderly. When grandma dies, members of the family will get life insurance benefits. When granny dies, the kids will get a check. All government has to do is be itself and indirectly more people will get a check.

If you think only “evil” insurance companies could act so cruel, then you are not paying attention. In several drafts of healthcare bills before the Congress, the government has the power to deny people access to a hospital. An insurance company does not even have that power. The insurance company may not assist in paying for the hospital treatment, but they can not hinder your effort to get a bed in the hospital. Government will.

Your medical condition will only be treated if it is recognized by the government. If you are sick too many times and require multiple hospital admissions, the government can stop you from being readmitted. Insurance companies not stop you from being readmitted. The nearest hospital that can treat you may be over an hour away. But, that new hospital that was planned a few miles away from you was not built. Government controls the construction and expansion of medical facilities.

If you disagree, too bad. There is no “judicial review” for your case. Healthcare officials are in a higher level of government than the Courts.

It is pure foolishness to complain about “evil” insurance companies controlling the payment of services, yet surrender the control the delivery of services to government. Lets hope those who trust the government more than insurance companies are the first to go. Leave my granny alone.
