If the news of an acute increase in the income tax by the State of California was not so scary, it would be darn funny.  How sweet it is that the most liberal state in the US has made a daring and desperate act to steal more from its people.  The seeds of liberalism and progressive ideology are showing its new blossomed flowers.  California is forcing its compliant subjects to bring all the tithe into the storehouse.

If your employer told you today you will make ten percent less immediately, would you be upset?  You are worth your pay, right?  Of course you want your full pay.  How dare they take money from you by giving you a salary cut!  Most would be complaining and call for something to happen to the evil corporations for taking some of your paycheck away.  This mentality is the origin of workers unions.

Is theft any different when it is taken by government?  For statists, its just fine for government to steal money – but, not companies to cut salaries back.  This line of thinking is just idiotic.  Without the evil corporations, many of us would not have any income to be stolen.  Hence, the major difference is clear – government does not generate money, it only takes money.  Government is the thief.  California is a criminal state.

California citizens, if you want your ten percent back, then you might want to pick up a copy of “Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto."  Maybe you folks in liberal land will recognize tyranny when it picks your pocket dry.
