Nuts_Yes_We_Can_Obama He did not seem very pleased to receive the Nobel Peace Surprise today.  At times, he seemed to be distracted and stumbling over his notes.  Why?  Well, he wants to win in Afghanistan.  He wants this because that will secure his political legacy in America.  Sadly for him, he now knows that a victory involves more military action and not powerful speeches from a pedestal of pontification.  Artful dodging does not win wars. 

More than likely, Obama wanted to increase the number of troops very quietly.  Now, he has been put on notice by the world.  They are watching.  Whatever he had in the works for troop deployment has to be recalculated.  Voting "present" will not be enough for Obama this time.

In the big scheme of things, this is an honorary reward for being a world citizen.  But, being from America will be the biggest problem for Obama.  Eventually, the world will figure out that he is just another wealthy, selfish, war-mongering American.  At some point, he will resist the wishes of the world because Americans do not want to surrender.  That is when the world will turn on him.  After all, even a spineless coward will fight back when kicked around too much.

The Nobel Peace Prize was the first bruise in the fight.
