Oops. They did it again. America released enemy combatant al Qaeda members from Guantanamo and they tried to kill more Americans. If you missed the in-depth coverage from our elite state media, two terrorists released back in November 2007 were behind the al Qaeda plot to blow up the Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Detroit. They have been identified as Guantanamo prisoner #333, Muhamad Attik al-Harbi, and prisoner #372, Said Ali Shari. Our glorious government agreed to release the men after Saudi Arabia accepted them into “art therapy rehab.”

How stupid. Those art schools are full of liberal hippies. Thats like sending a pig into a river of mud.

Even more idiotic is the assumption that closing Guantanamo will keep America safer. Sending enemy combatants back to their terrorist soil will only ignite their efforts to cause harm to Americans by making them survivors of so-called American torture. They will regroup, reload and return to kill. Evidently, terrorists in Yemen do not honor Obama’s world citizenship. Terrorists do not get chill up their legs when hearing Obama speak, either.

How many Americans will die before the Obama administration acknowledges that we are at war? It will be many. The evidence can be seen in his commandment to his government pawns:

I’ve directed my national security team to keep up the pressure on those who would attack our country.

No, Mr. President. Do not put pressure on our enemies! We don’t know what that means, but don’t do it! Sounds too much like torture to me!

Wait a minute. If our security team can contact and put pressure on those who would attack us; then, why are they not locked up somewhere? Why are we allowing potential attackers to continue being a threat to America? That sounds like a security breach to me.

Obama will not get serious about security in the US until many Americans die. Terrorists will continue to attack the US until they send a clear answer to Obama. “Apology accepted, Mr. President.”

Update: Dick Cheney comments on Obama’s refusal to acknowledge we are at war with terrorists.

[W]e are at war and when President Obama pretends we aren’t, it makes us less safe.  Why doesn’t he want to admit we’re at war?  It doesn’t fit with the view of the world he brought with him to the Oval Office.  It doesn’t fit with what seems to be the goal of his presidency — social transformation — the restructuring of American society.

Guantanamo detainees should not be released to Yemen at this time.

The anti-war libertarians and code pink liberals are right.  Afghanistan is Obama’s Vietnam.  Obama is waffling on doing anything in the war.  Today, Dick Cheney called him out on this fact.  Cheney stepped on Obama administration attempts to blame their own inaction on President Bush.  If Fox News had not revealed this, how would we have known?

The last time I didn’t do anything, I got nothing in return.  Why should Obama expect to get any success out of the war if he does not give success to the effort?  Unfortunately for soldiers in battle, doing nothing will get you killed.

The primary job of the President is to keep America safe.  So far Obama has been highly skilled at spending borrowed money, giving out goodies and throwing big parties.  He has had concert after concert at the White House while many suffer in an economic crunch "…the worst since the depression…"  I am sure the poor people in downtown Chicago benefit from his White House lawn parties.

Oh, we can’t forget his oratory skills.  He speaks and the world just shakes in submission.  Sorry, that hasn’t worked since the election.  Speaking has not worked to pound Iran into submission.  His pontification did not work on the Olympic Committee.  Apologizing to the rest of the world has made us a laughing stock.

Worst of all, Obama is showing his inability to do the primary job he is charged with – defense.  He can do everything else pretty well.  But, when faced with a real decision that has real consequences he crumples into silly puddy.

As Obama demonstrates his inability to defend America, the rest of the world watches.  Expect hostilities toward America to increase during the next 3 years.  When our country lowers its shield of defense, the rest of the world will move to hit us hard.  Bullies love to beat up the coward on the block.  Pray our bruises do not destroy us.

Once again, the extremists in control of Iran are spitting out threats.  Iran is vowing to strike back at Israel if its nuclear facilities are attacked.  Obviously, Israel is close to taking matters into its own hands and Iran is squeeling like little girls on the playground.  Iran says Israel is “too small” to put up a fight.  They must not have chiwahwahs in Iran to know that is not true.

But, the comment is not referring to the physical size of the country, rather than the size of support it has available.  Iran knows the Obama administration is anti-Israel and will not support any of its anti-terrorist actions. 

Obama Weapon of Choice

For the first time since Israel’s rebirth after WW2, the country really does stand alone against all in the region and the world.  Israel is really is “too small” because America, under the current government leadership, has abandoned it.

The Muslim extremists out there are seeing this, too.  They know that in many ways our country has lost its tolerance for the “war on terror”.  We have a leader that will talk big and talk even bigger.  The bigger the challenge, the bigger the talk.  Overall the US will not defend itself because Obama believes in bombast, not bombs.

While declaring that America should not meddle with the violent “dialog” occurring in Iran, the great ME-ssiah believes that his speech in Cairo actually contributed to the uprising.  Likewise, he believes that uttering sweet-nothings from his own speeches will put the Iranian government into a humble state of submission.

As I said in Cairo, suppressing ideas never succeeds in making them go away. The Iranian people will ultimately judge the actions of their own government. If the Iranian government seeks the respect of the international community, it must respect the dignity of its own people and govern through consent, not coercion.

This is pure self-idolatry and brazen arrogance.  It takes quite a pomp ass individual to think that a speech in another part of the world can simply make such an impact.  If the seeds of liberty were not in the hearts of the people to begin with, the words would have floated off like an investment in a carbon credit.

In actuality, his speech and subsequent comments demonstrate the very American supremest attitude that the world hates us for (at least according to Democrats when George W. Bush spoke).  Logic tells me that the common people of Iran would have been insulted by those words, not inspired.

Either way you spin this, Obama has and will continue to meddle.  His only goal will be to make the world believe that his words inspired the battle for freedom in Iran. Our national defense has been reduced to rhyme and rhetoric.  God Help us.

For the first time since World War II, Japan is considering its own defense capability.  Since 1947 America has been an ally and defensive partner for Japan.  Japan has been comfortable all this time with our ability to assist in keeping them safe.  Not anymore.  They know we have a wimp in the White House.

The leaders of the “Liberal Democratic Party” in Japan are calling for sovereign defensive measures – or pre-emptive strike capability against North Korea.  This reaction is to be expected considering the saber rattling by North Korea, lately. 

Japan is a great nation that deserves to secure its own national sovereignty.  If North Korea continues to antagonize the world, the Japanese may choose to beef up its military might.  If they do not, their own Freedom may be in jeopardy.
