A reminder of what Inalienable means:

This is a new year, this is new day, to rise shine, lift up your eyes

This is a new year, this is a new day to rise shine, and point the way to God’s great life

Where hope can hold the hand of sorrow and we can walk into tomorrow

Where peace is found in troubled days and the joy of Jesus carries pain

– Lyrics “New Year” by Charlie Hall. Release on the CD “The Bright Sadness

In a sad political spectacle, Obama visited the caskets of eighteen fallen war heroes.  On the surface, this appears very compassionate and caring of the President.  But, this inaction is a stunt to give the impression of support for our troops.  Obama is setting up a media storm of tears for fears, to construct a somber response to a dire situation.

Ultimately, the Democrats are setting America’s expectations of defeat to become the new victory.  Sending the boys home defeated will be the victory.  Expect an emotional smorgasbord of war-stories to surface.  People will cry and scream.  Pain will be ObamaMessthe order of the day.  Books will emerge.  Michael Moore might do another movie.  Cindy Sheehan will be back from the media dust pile.

It is certain that a scaled down response to Lieutenant General McChrystal request is sure to quietly pass from the White House chambers.  When he sends an army of “300” to do the work of thousands, he will claim to have drawn inspiration from the dead soldiers he saluted.  The liberal media will present the President as torn and heart-broken over his decision.

Bush will be blamed for the failure in Afghanistan.  Why should we expect Obama to be blamed for it?  After all, Obama was only voting ‘Present’.

Lots of guys have big smiles on their faces today. Thats because Michael Moore was on the Jay Leno Show last night. No girl wants to see a fat slob spit out pizza morsles at 10pm.  This is especially true when the guy is complaining about money.  Girls don’t dig guys that complain about money.  They just want guys to get the money.  Money talk makes them anxious and loose sleep.  Fortunately, many guys had just the remedy to help them sleep.

The alternative on TV was the Patrick Swayze memorial show with Barbara Walters.  Most guys would tolerate watching that so that the girl’s sad romantic switch will be turned on.  He knows a soft petting of support for her emotional dirt-bike ride will get him rolling at least half-way through the show.

Ultimately, most folks just turned the tube off and took matters into their own hands.  Look around the office.  The guys are tired, but still have that stupid smile on their faces.  Hey, they won the attention competition over Jay Leno and Patrick Swayze last night.  Today, they are victorious.

How ironic it is, that the least capable and most derelict sons of Joseph Kennedy would live the longest.  While not perfect by any means, the first brother who was killed early in life more than likely would have held the family name to a higher standard.

The biggest mystery is how the Kennedy legacy would have unfolded had Joseph Kennedy, Jr. not perished during his action in WWII.  it was widely known in the Kennedy family that Joseph Jr was to carry the political torch for the family. But, upon his death the younger boys had the responsibility to drag the family legacy along. the younger boys were propelled into a life pursuit that was void of a benchmark of character.  Without boundaries they wander through the wilderness. few make it out of the wilderness.

Judging from Joseph Jr’s short but stellar military career, he was a cut above.  He was a brave leader with a strong sense of duty to his country and others.   The country needed such a fearless pioneer in the cold-war era.  Sadly, we got the left overs – his younger brothers.

Instead of a sincere heroic family legacy, the younger brothers set the standard a infidelity, imitation and imperialism. Any other accomplishments were parodies of fiat manufactured by the press.

It appears the Kennedy family curse follows a pattern.  The better the Kennedy, the quicker that fate takes them out in a blaze of glory.

Americans can be real apathetic with government matters.  We get busy with our day to day lives and just tune Washington out.  But, the best way to get Americans off the couch is to threaten their finances and their lives.

Finances are being heavily effected with unemployment going up despite government bailouts.  Now, our lives are being threatened by a government takeover of the healthcare industry.  Only such threats would scare people enough to suppress the fear of public speaking and vocalize their opinions in public.

The rambunctious town hall meetings are the proclamations of those who have historically not been involved in a dialog about government.  Non-voters, independent voters and Republican voters are there.  They did not ask for the Obama health plan, and they are speaking out.

American voters did not vote to be ignored, insulted and cast aside in a flurry of childish name calling.  The media is also hanging itself for assisting the democrats in portraying regular Americans as violent and ignorant.  This is of course, the furthest from the truth.  Some democrats are realizing this, and see the Obama mandate falling into dust.

These town hall meetings are the beginning of the end of the Obama administration and the current Democratic leadership in Congress.  George Bush, 41 lost the 1992 election because of finances.  Obama will surely lose the election in 2012 over taxes that threaten finances.  But, many more will show up to the polling places because they will know their lives are threatened by government control of healthcare.
