All Presidents teach us something.  Bill Clinton taught us what is, is.  He also taught us that oral sex is not sex.  George W. Bush taught us how not to pronounce nuclear.  His dad, George H. taught us that taxes really piss people off.  Jimmy Carter taught us how stupid someone in authority can be.

Obama has taught a generation of young American’s some things, too.  When you have a disagreement with someone, drinking alcohol with them will make it all better.  So, drink up America.  Expect more of these beer summits.  Obama has several more years to put his foot in his mouth.

Obama has also taught us that its OK to not apologize for wrongdoings.  Instead, deflect the issue and hold no one accountable — especially yourself!  But, we have seen this pattern before.  Obama is voting “present” once again.

The President has also shown us how emotions rule his actions, and that he has a quick temper.  Without a spine based on principle, he is a wavering race car on the edge of a cliff.  He needs to take a lessen from Ronald Reagan.

Say it again, Joe.  I think many Americans who pulled the switch for Obama are finding out just what a mistake they made. Joe is tired of the games that Washington is playing with our health, our livelyhood and our long-term economic viability.

Obama Deficits

Joe is right to cast blame on all sides of the isle.  Republicans are just as guilty for the rampant spread of government spending and disregard for public opinion as the Democrats.  Being a working man, and Red Blooded American, Joe knows the value of a dollar.  He also knows that more of his dollar is being “spread around” disguised as bailouts and healthcare reform.

Joe also knows that unemployed people do not stimulate the economy.  The government bureaucrats lie about how the economy is really doing, while trying to ‘talk’ the economy back into strength.  The fact is more and more people are being removed from Obama’s wealth distribution collection list.  Unemployed people do not keep government entitlements coming, either.

Keep the shout out, Joe.  Keep active.  You could be a Senator in a few years.  How about next year?  We need you.

In my business travels, I get to eat at many different restaurants. From Barbacoa to Zuccotto, I eat all kinds of food, too. It is amazing how versatile and dynamic the flavors cooked in our country are.  With so much fast food out there, a great meal with uniqueness and character is such a treasure.  Nothing beats sitting down in a local place that captures the area’s attitude and flavor.  Often it is the area’s translation of food that is so interesting.  Mexican food in Fargo is different than in Florida, for example.

Heineken Premium Light

A great beverage is a compliment to the artistic nature of a epulation journey.  I have had many different kinds of beers with different foods.  Domestic beers such as Natural Light and Coors Light have been favorites of mine for a long time.  While these favorite domestics go well with steak and potatoes, they do not blend in well with Italian or Japanese cuisine.

My recent favorite has been Heineken Premium Light.  This beer is extremely smooth and does not cause flavor conflicts on the palate.  The taste is gentle but not weak.  In other words, you know you are drinking a great tasting beer but do not only taste the beer.  I have found it to be best with Italian pasta and a spicy Mexican dish.

The beer is light on the burp factor, not forcing a rebel yell after each swig.  It has a 3.5% alchohol content which if consumed with food at a good pace, should not put you into DUI territory.   Nevertheless, be responsible when drinking.

Be responsible when eating, too.  Enjoy the meal with a Heineken Premium Light.

The word Google has become a synonym for search.  For others, the word Google means money.  In the current economic climate, the numbers of those looking for new ways to make money are up.  Those looking for jobs are doing most of it from there computer.  So, a computer pop-up scam with the Google word in it is a dream come true.
Even a computer savvy person like myself can be a victim.  I almost was after clicking on the pop-up.  At first, it did not look like a pop-up.  Usually, I close out pop-ups without thinking.  But, the window was a full size browser.  This made it appear that I had opened the page on purpose.
After a quick scan of the page, I began to dream of how it would be great to have some supplemental income coming in.  I started to fill out a form and then common sense hit me hard.  I looked at the URL and did not see the word Google in it.  After doing a quick “Google” for this offer, I found it to be a scam.  Headaches avoided.
Since so many people are on the internet nowadays, the old pop-up scams have to be more sophisticated.  They have to appear so realistic that even the best of us can be fooled at times.  Be careful where you click.  It could be a trick.
