Today, Governor Beverly Purdue of North Carolina announced a pay cut for state employees – including teachers.  That seems rather ironic since she was supported heavily by teachers unions and North Carolina State employees.  But, like a good Democrat, she takes away from others to give to others.

Democrat voters, welcome to income redistribution.  This is exactly what Obama meant when he barfed the phrase “…spreading the wealth around.”  If you don’t feel wealthy, then too bad.  You have been drafted into the war on poverty.

The bottom line is in North Carolina we have Democrats in the legislature and the Governor’s mansion who refuse to accept fiscal responsibility.  Our state budget is over extended and out of control.  Even before the  economic crisis and Federal deficit spending,  our state  had problems with budget shortfalls.  Even when there was an economic boom, our state government could not keep its pants on long enough to avoid a fiscal orgy.

Like many states in the American South, North Carolina has had a rather steady job and housing market despite national trends.  So, if our state can not manage its finances during the good times, then how do we expect any better during bad?

It is unfortunate that the first victims of Governor Purdue’s administration are state government employees and teachers.  It is even more unfortunate that instead of cutting spending and trimming the budget, the Governor cuts the take home pay of our honorable state workers. 

It seems the more things change, the more they stay the same.

This swine flu from Mexico cannot be discounted as a chance occurrence. Obama was just in Central America paying his respects to all of those who wish to steal or kill us. Suddenly, this new virus erupts on the scene. Government dependents in Mexico have begun to die. Now the bug is spreading all over the world. What does Obama do? He plays golf. Now that is leadership.

Isn’t it obvious that this swine flu was created and released by the Obama administration to kill all of those rich white people in America? Look at the overwhelming evidence. Obama travels to Mexico, and then all of a sudden a new virus begins spreading around the world. Even more intriguing is that the virus is a concoction of pig, bird and human DNA.  Obama has also done nothing to secure our borders and constantly downplayed the significance of this new bug.  The government has used the unsuspecting public as test tubes before. Why not now?

If the swine flu does not kill all of the white people, then the US Center for Disease Distribution will begin to quarantine and kill them off individually. Have you not seen those movies made by Hollywood about deadly bugs resulting in a government takeover? Those movies were planted in the public psyche to educate us on how to get in a single file line and quietly go to the torture chamber.

What was in the book that Hugo Chavez gave Obama? If you turn to page 666, I bet there is a message in crayon that says, "White Swine will die."

Upon reading this article full of double-talk and assumptions, one would suspect the sun is filing for divorce from planet Earth. According to the "Wizards of Weathering Places", the sun is quieter than usual. This quietness should provide some element of global cooling to counteract our rising carbon dirt print. However, the sun is displaying its anger and revealing that our carbon-nation is really at fault for the temperature differences.

The entire article sums up the environmentalist mentality. First overwhelming evidence of some cause leading to an effect is declared. Then we find that the evidence is not understood.   For example, the behavior of the sun is declared to be changing yet they do not understand why. Then at the end of the article, it is revealed that no one knows how the up and down behavior of the sun really works. So, what do we know?

Of course we know very little to nothing. Only the faithful could believe scientists who claim to have all the answers, but do not understand how those very answers were developed.

I would write more, but I am recovering from painful sunburns after mowing the lawn. Can you guys ask Obama to negotiate with the sun to get it more active again?

The irony is almost unbelievable.  Black Muslims from Africa are Obama’s first enemy and have declared war on America.  This response from these pirates is a  reaction to Obama authorizing the use of force to free Captain Richard Phillips.  The hostage standoff finally ended after snipers artfully sent three pirates to their deaths.  Yes, this is new world of love and peace.

President Obama’s claim of world citizenship seems to have helped him very little in the negotiations to free Captain Richard Phillips. Evidently, Obama’s 
birth certificate is not valid in Somalia and the local criminals there just don’t have much trust in him.  That is too bad, because it would have been nice to have to have four pirates here on American soil enjoying our rights and prison food. 

Hopefully, this episode will register some element of common sense in our new President.  Maybe he will learn now that our enemies cannot be appeased or be 
negotiated with.  Playing mind games with enemies in the world does not demonstrate strength or confidence.  The greatest lessen he can learn is that there 
are actually bad people in the world who will not love America or Americans no matter what we say or do. 

Unfortunately, it will take another 9-11 for him to see this.  Then the blood on his hands will be impossible to ignore. 

I know that Liberals in the United Surrendered of America celebrated President Obama’s apology tour in Europe last week.  They think that finally we are at peace with the world for being sorry for our past actions.  But, I have to ask if Obama’s actions have improved our image across the world for being apologetic?

There may be some around the world who think that our American Arrogance is gone – or even wavering.  But, the wise understand that Obama’s comments are a prime demonstration of our arrogance.

First of all, Obama insulted the intelligence of the world community by implying that our country is apologetic.  When in our history as a nation have we not stood to defend our sovereignty when threatened?  The rest of the world knows that we are a “sleeping giant” that roars awake when our freedom is threatened.  Likewise, they know that we will not bow to international pressure.  By our very nature, we believe in Freedom and will be free to respond to threats however we see fit.

Second, Obama implies that America does not expect nor deserve respect.  Not only do we step on the graves of those Americans who have died for freedom around the world, but we insult those in the international community who assisted us in those endeavors.  If we don’t expect respect, then we will have none in return. 

All humans expect respect from others.  When we drive down the road, we expect the respect of other drivers.  When we stand in a line for a service, we expect respect from other customers and the service providers.  The world knows that anyone claiming to not expect or deserve respect is simply a prideful liar.

Finally, the international community knows that Obama was elected and can be easily replaced.  When we get tired of hearing Obama’s blubbering talk, he will be voted back to Chicago land from whence he came.  Our next President could be a red blooded tiger that will earn respect and kick those apologies to the curve.  The likelihood of that happening sounds more “American” than what Obama has been saying.
